About Us

The Moonlighters Ladies Choir  are a choir of approximately 30 ladies. The choir has been together for about 12 years, singing all styles of music

Geoff has been a singer all his life. Growing up in Perth, he has performed in many musicals & has also been the vocal director for several muscials, such as Grease, The Hot Mikado & Chess. He has also performed in many theatre & music theatre productions in the past 30 years.

 

He also sings with the Australian Barbershop Quartet Champions of 1996 'Bad Habits'.

 

Geoff has taught singing for over 15 years.

 

Directing The Moonlighters is one of Geoffs greatest pleasures.

Jen has been playing for many years & has become an integral part of the Moonlighters Choir.

 

Jen has come from a family of musically talented people, growing up in Busselton & being involved with the local theatre company, she has now spread her wings to live in Perth, where she is now an important part of the Lake Gwelup Primary School as a mum & accompanist for the school choirs within the school.

 

Jen does not only accomany the Moonlighters, but is a wonderful interperater of the music that the choir sings, bringing sensitivity & life to all the songs.

Rehearsals Wednesdays 7.30pm – 9.00pm.

Music Room, Gwelup Primary School Porter Street Gwelup.

Park in the carpark on Porter Street and walk south for about 40mt to the Music Room.

We have cuppa after rehearsal on the first Wednesday of the month, bring your cup!

 

  • Come along & have sing

  • There is no obligations

  • You don't need to read music

  • Rehearsals are all recorded with your parts available to practice if you wish
